Picked up my 05 CDI last week with 217k and still had the red lock on the tube. It came with great service records....but no mention or record of trans service anywhere along the way. Trans ran and shifted pretty well, so i was hopeful someone had serviced it sometime.

Fluid looked liked Coca-Cola coming out of the pan. Surprisingly there wasn't that much stuff on the magnet and the valve body wasn't dirty.....so I flushed about 18l of fluid through it, and buttoned her up.

I'll let y'all know how it goes in the future.

Anyone beat that mileage on their factory fluid?

I actually like hearing these stories....encouraging to think how long one with fluid changed even 80k miles or so will last. I'm doing a drain and fill every 10k or so.

These trannies are really robust...will be interesting to see how far you can go....I'm sure your tranny is very thankful for its new owner!
