Engine swap and programming of fuel rail pressure

Hi,

just did an engine swap, OM646 diesels both of them, but the new one has smaller fuelpump and nozzles, the 136hp version. Old one had 150hp i believe.

As expected the car doesn't start until it gets an ok reading from the fuelrail pressure sensor, so I need to either program the value of new sensor into the ecu, or play around with the sensor itself to give correct amount of voltage.

Anyone done this before?

I am not sure why you are posting it in the W211 forum. The W211s never used the OM646.
I know it was used in the Sprinters and Vitos. You may have luck in those forums we have.

With the engine number it might just be easier to get a fuel rail pressure sensor that matches the 136hp version.
