New Bosch about $285. Used on eBay $140. The same one was used on dozens of years/models.
Search ebay for part BOSCH 0580000010 or Mercedes 0580000010

The aluminum housing stays. You will just be changing the black plastic pump inside of
the housing. Very quick swap.

Does anyone, anyone at all, know how to tell me how to locate the SECONDARY AIR PUMP on my 2003 E320. Hard to believe 185 people looked at the thread and no one has answered this old man.

Maybe, like Noodles, everyone read the question as where to buy one, not where to find it on the engine.

I can't really help you with the location, but if you do a search for the part Noodles recommended, you can find a picture so you'll have a better idea of what to look for. You can see it at Mercedes Benz Air / Smog Pump - BOSCH - 0580000010 - NEW OEM MB Pump | eBay.

does anyone know off hand the relay location for the SECONDARY AIR PUMP. The punp has been changed and the info from Mercedes USA says that sinse the pump locked up to change the relay also due to current is very high draw and may have also burnt the contacts. I need location of the relay as there are no manuals in rhe car and no roadmap in the fuse box. Thanks. I Bid U Peace. Tim

Off the top of my head it may be the K17 relay located at 31 in the front SAM.
Can't check the diagrams for a couple of days. The dealer you would get from
should be able to tell you where it is located.

Screenshot of the secondary air injection relay position from the MB Star Service CD. N3/10 is the ME-SFI control unit, N10/1IC is the Circuit 87 engine relay, N10/1kL is the Starter relay, and N10/1kR is the AIR pump relay.

There's another picture in http://www.benzworld.org/forums/newr...eply&t=1647255. It's for an '03 E55, but it probably also can be used for the E320, at least for the relay location. The thread is the first link that pops up if you Google "mercedes w211 secondary air pump relay."

Noodles appears to be right, in a related page on the CD they do refer to the relay as K17.
