Question Replacement Horn

Hello!

I wanted to know if anybody replaced their horn? If anything I can't stand on my 2009 e350, is the horn. So embarrassing and wimpy.

Is your horn different from the 2006 E350 models?? I think my horn sounds pretty manly and aggressive!!! LOL

SHE ASK ME WHY I LOOK SO MEAN, I SAID THE BENZ JUST DO SOMETHING TO MA SELF ESTEEM!!!

I would love to find a horn from an older MB Truck, 1119?. They had such a great sound, very much a beep beep. I have one horn right now that fails and sounds like a sick goose, of course it doesnt do it when at dealer.

2008 ML320 CDI. Iridium Silver/Black MBTex, P2 pkg, NAV, Trailer Hitch. Purchased 3/2012 CPO 133,000 miles
2006 E320 CDI Black/Black, Leather, NAV, Harmon Kardon, HTD Seats, Rear Shade. Purchased 2/2010 CPO SOLD
1997 E300D Silver 304,000 miles SOLD

The O/P will probably find that the high-tone horn (which is the one visible at the front of the car when the bonnet is lifted) will have failed. It is a simple job to replace. It generates a difference tone with the low pitched horn which is mounted elsewhere on the car.

My 2008 E550 same thing - the "horn" sucks to no end - pathetic isn't the right word - my kids have toys that make more noise.

I've dug out two horns from my 108 parts bin - high and low - I think I'll try rigging those up.
