E350 2008 - Did I pay too much?

I've just paid for a 2008 E350 4matic Sport (black/black) 1-owner with 36K miles on the clock for $29K (everything included except tax). Did I do ok in this economy? Thanks.

What does it matter? You already bought the car, right. End of story.

x2. Lol. Why do people ask pricing questions after they already bought the item in question?

You should sell it and try to find one for less.

Unless the car has p2, is cpo, and has some other options, you did overpay. But like the others already said, this horse is out of the barn already, so who cares. I assume you think you got a great deal or otherwise you wouldn't have posted this "question" at all.

I know it's a done deal but just want to know if I did ok. What's up with all the negative comments? It was an impulsive buy since the winter is coming (4Matic). Wanted to buy an S or GL class tho.

Thanks to everettpa1 and Stevbo200 for your civility answers.

I know you are going to like the 4matic in the winter. My daily drivers have been AWD for
over ten years and I wont drive anything but AWD.

Price is subjective.
Did you find anything better for the price you wanted instead?

I think a couple of $$ up or down is not the most important thing. Not much in the long run. A couple of repairs of a cheaper one in lesser condition will eat those $$ anyway.

If you found one you liked it's worth paying for. You needed one now and time is also a $$ factor.
Maybe if you waited you could have found one a little cheaper.. but then you wouldn't have it now...
To have it now can also, depending on circumstances, be worth $$.

As said. Price is subjective.

Other than that, the price seems in the "ok-zone" to me.

^Henrik is absolutely correct and there are a lot of factors that affect the price paid and it is difficult to generalize on value. You will love the 4Matic.
