Also it isn't sufficient to just press and hold the button on the remote because this feature only works via the infrared connection. You have to point the door handle IR receiver with your key.
Also windows (sunroof) have to be normalised (synchronised) before it works, if one touch opening/closing works, then sync is OK.
On my E350, '07...I must be not farther than 1 meter from the drivers door handle for this to work, and yes all windows and the roof slide open...first lock the doors with the remote, let it settle down and lights are off, then depress unlock and then depress unlock again :and hold it in, if you have this feature you will start grinning at this point....

1)What do you mean synchronized? 2)What is name of this feature?

I believe you can press unlock and hold it and it will open everything if you are pointing at the door handle and close enough. Same thing with the lock button once. If you have a pano roof the auto close does not work. The pano roof will only close if you hold that button in all the way. It is not one touch. Also, you can close all windows inside the car by pressing and holding down the air recycle button the climate control system. Again, I doubt this would work with pano but I haven't tried it.

If you look at your manual, you find the feature is called "convenience closing (opening) feature".
Sync means that the door control unit is made aware of the window end positions, up and down. This has to be done if the control unit has lost power for some time (like battery disconnected or a blown fuse). If one touch opening/closing does not work (applies for the sunroof too), then you know that window sync is needed.
