2002 e320 a/c not working
I tried my ac the other day and it's not working. I have the numbers and codes,
1=100 2=75 3=91 4=94 5=82 6=191 7=00 8=78
codes Eb1234, Eb1417
I took a quick look at the compressor and it does not seem to be turning, (the front most hub remains stationary.
After reading about other similar problems I have the following questions?
Is the compressor not turning because the #7 code is 00 which seems to indicate that I have no refrigerant?
I added R134a last year at this time and I had good A/C but the #7 code had a value of 06 when I first checked it before adding R134a.
Should I try to find a leak by adding some type of refrigerant that will allow me to see where the leak is?
Or should I just add r134a and hope the pressure goes up and then it will turn the compressor on, or does something have to be done to let the system know that there is now refrigerant in the system?
Any help or idea are appreciated.
