Thank you !!! Very useful !!

Silly question but do you know what Service (letter) comes after the C Service. Shortly before having my faulty mileage speedometer changed last year, I had a C Service on my E320 CDI which resulted in a mileage adjustment of (I think) about 5K.

The problem is that I have again hit 95K mileage mark and the C Service reading has once again reappeared. I am however conscience that a lesser Service may be required. The garage I normally use (not MB) is willing to perform any Service to full MB Standard and reset the service indicator thereafter. They however need me to state what service I require. Any ideas what follows C and what this involves??

This basic MBUSA service sheet and MBWorld.org Forums - View Single Post - Service E-Class (211) USA (item numbers may differ) may help. You can pull up the FSS maintenance items suggested in the instrument cluster, cross reference to numbered items in your maintenance booklet, then compare to service sheet recommendations. MBUSA changed to fixed interval for oil change and calculates additional work by time elapsed and mileage in accordance to the service sheet.

Thank you konigstiger. Much appreciated !!!

The funniest thing about this signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it ...
