I would like to upgrade my 2004 W211 taillights for the taillights found on the 2007-2008 models W211. I heard that there will be some wiring issues? Can anyone please give me some information on this?

The OE Model update W211 Taillights are a direct bolt on Item..I Have installed a couple sets NO Problems

Unlike the copies on Ebay

You can also get the W211 Model updated tails with the center smoked All oem from MB

MBENZNL.com has them...

It's the same side Diesel Benz! There is just nothing. I tried the search function to look for common things like Euro COMAND but nothing to find!

It was supposed to be the same site but the url was different, I thought you would have had redirection issues. What did you expect to find? It isn't a full blown web shop with accurate prices listed but it isn't empty either. You would like Euro COMAND references but for your specific interests you should follow the advice above.

Honestly, if you ask me, they do work really honestly.

The emphasis being on the word "work". This is why the web site isn't the most informative. If you browse through the forum you'll find Steve travelling almost throughout the world but mainly throughout the US, not only sending and receiving email but also taking care of the complex retrofit tasks. Find posts from BigSis or MBenzNL plus all customer posts for reference.
