Common or not?
well i own my 04' e500 and just started to drive it after being parked for about two months. yesterday it seems like s&!t hit the fan.
Two engine motor mounts broke and front left strut just randomly stopped working and my COMAND went insane as well as my clock.
vehicle just has 47K miles bought with 38K in december 07'
Now i had everything fixed under the MB extended warranty, but i just wanted to know if its common that the motor mounts break. i know of the AIRMATIC having problems but not the mounts. just wondering

As for the comand... did you jump start the car after it sat for that long? Jump starting is the worst thing you can do to a car with all the electronic components that newer cars have.
You should always "charge" the battery before starting it, using a dedicated battery charger/maintainer.
