MB lex or leather?

I have a Blue E-Class 2004 E270CDI with pacific blue interior. But how do i tell if its leather or MB lex? i thought mercedes used MB lex on the outside of the seats and leather on the inside, so you dont get that seat sagging that you get on most cars.

leather feels thick and the lex feels softer and you can usually squeeze it together very easily with your fingers

If your door panels are pleated you have leather, if they are smooth you have MBTex. I'm usually a sucker for leather but my '07 has MBTex and I'm very happy with it. I'm convinced it will keep it's original look longer than leather, but the seats aren't as supple.

YW. Welcome to the forums, Willy.

I had an '04 and it was a wonderful car. Enjoy the experience.
