Aftermarket HID kit --- WTF???

Hi,

I finally pulled a trigger and purchased an aftermarket HID kit for '08 E350. The kit was $61 shipped (so cheap ) and it even included a capacitor harness so it wouldn't throw any computer error. Everything looks decent quality. No stickers on the ballast though. So I have no idea who made or where the ballast came from. It just came in a white box with no specific logos on it.

BUT...

I have one major problem.

As you can see in the attached pictures, the bulb ends where the wires come out from bulbs are "ROUND" shaped, not "Flat, Rectangular" shaped!!! There's no way for me to fit the OEM Retainer Clips on to the bulbs!!! I understand that we HAVE to use the Original Retainer Clips to securely mount the bulbs to the housing. Because of its "ROUND" shape, even if I modify the clips, they still won't hold the bulbs securely. or Will they?

Help... Has anyone gotten a kit like mine?

ok.. I contacted the seller and addressed the issue. I sent them a nice email with pictures. They knew right away what I was talking about (THANK GOD!) and told me to send them back the old bulbs. They said they had bulbs with "flat" bases. We shall see... I am just keeping my fingers crossed that they would send me the right ones and I will be able to install them asap. Can't Wait!!!
