The weather has been shite lately... so i dug up some shots i took earlier..
1. In photo one which was in full sun, you can see the biggest difference.
Its our two Columbite Black E-Class wedged between a friends Obsidian Black CLK. All cars are new 2008 models and were less than 2 months old at the time, so the colours are still current.
2. Photo two is the same shot but when it was overcast. It looks pretty black.
3. Under lights in the garage, you can still see the 'redness' in the corners (left).. As i said in the other posts, i think this paint just looks a little more liquid(?). You can also see it in shot one.
I can send you the HIGH RES originals photos (3872 x 2592) if you want TRANGO, just message me. You can definately notice it then.

Stunning Homer! I'm going for Columbite (Sienna Black) - be the first kid on the block to drive one! Buy one color, get two . Looks really good... adds some "color" to the black interior (going for full black leather interior).
CDI with Avantgarde sportsline, Columbite Black with black leather interior and a black sunscreen to give the car that mysterious yet classy look . Oh and I ordered the full 2009 Comand system with phone integration and what not. I'm one happy puppy!
Got a very nice price on the packages indeed. In exactly 2 years I'll return the car for a sweet pre-negotiated price and order a new E. Trust me, that drops the price considerably as well .
Thanks Homer - you were the one pushing me in the right direction for the color. I'll sure exchange some pictures here on the forum once the car is delivered (< 3 months). Haven't seen anyone around with that color. It's going to stand out without being too much, like you said so yourself. Very fancy!
