all fuses work fine,
Have you update the AGW firmware? Check w/ your service advisor for recall/Service record.

Chances are your old unit is still good.
For the "old trick" you could try....

1. power off your command unit.
2. full reset your command to factory default (on your display cluster)
3. remove the key.
4. go to your trunk and remove #6 fuse out for 2 min.
5. put the #6 fuse back in.
6. turn your key to position one. (wait for 15 seconds)
7. power on your command unit.

I understand, try the "old trick" and let's hope it works.

If not, go to your service advisor and see if following has been done.

AF82.85-P-6000P about Comand issues and a SW update. AF82.85-P_6060A about the audio gateway, reflash or replace depending on the unit. A few later updates too (probably replacing some of the older updates).

did you have your issue diagnosed or just asked the dealer to replace your radio? if you had a new one installed and it still does the same thing, its not a software issue. have it diagnosed properly.

I did all what you said but it didn't work, i when to MB dealership and they said "oh its teleaid, that has malfunction...you have to pay $2k to have the new digital teleaid system then you radio will work !! i don't believe that one sec b/c there is thousands of eclass on the road that have an analogue system and their radio still works

Go to other dealer and ask for second opinion.
Or have same guy write down the require work on paper.
Fax it to MBUSA for discussion.

My tele-aid doesn't even work, and occasionally will pop-up (tele-aid malfunction) if I accidentally press the button in the arm rest. (NOPE, I did not have digital - tele- aid, nor subscribe to it) But my radio has no problem, what-so-ever.

I want to thank the post by no-clue earlier on the reset of the command unit. My CD changer stopped working and I was going to take it to MB. I tried the reset method "old trick" and it worked. My CD changer powered up and is working fine. Thanks again this post has saved me money.

On a similar note, I found that the lcd on my APS 50 radio has a number of white lines going across at the top almost totally hiding the first lines of text and a number of the buttons don't work - the lowest soft button on the left and one of the seek buttons. Has anyone experienced this before?
Any fix ideas?
