Could anyone give me advise on a 2004 e500 awd. I am thinking of purchasing one and could use anyones personal experience with the vehicle to help me with my decision.
The car is a 2004 70,000 miles, black/black, AWD, with nav, sat, power everything, sunroof, in good condition. I had the dealer (Tristar) look the vehicle over and OKed. The guy is asking $26,500 for the car.
The 4 matics are excellent. The one you are looking at seems to have more than twice the average miles. My opinion is that its priced quite a bit high considering the miles. How deep did the dealer go with his look see?? Did he interrogate the computer, examine the suspension for wear?? Those are all things you should consider. Remember the most expensive MB is always the cheapest to buy.
I purchased the car, I'll let anyone know if it was a good deal in about 6 months. I think by then all the problems, if any, will reveal themselves. I also owned a 84' Porsche 928 s Euro, I traded the car on the 01 SLK.
Two completely different cars, I liked them both for seperate reasons. Thanks for the info.
