Cool E320 exhaust recommendation

hey all, I'm newb here. I want to change my exhaust system and muffler. I want to improve my torque and HP, but I dont want to have a very loud noise inside my car.
Anyone have any recommendation? any particular brand or anything that I should use?

Where did you find the stock E55 exhaust, and if you don't mind, how much was it? I've found the Remus exhaust with quad tips for $1200.00, but I've already got the AMG quad oval tips on my car now and love the look. The Remus kit just has round tips.

i have remus on my w211 cdi, looks and sounds great, but do not expect to increase to much torque aqnd hp by replacing muffler only, you need more than muffler.

Did you install the E55 bumper or use the black plastic trim kit from Steve? I've already contacted him and he has the mufflers and plastic trim kit available. He doesn't have any pics though of the black plastic except unmounted and for the CLS. I'd really like to see the black plastic installed on a non AMG w211. Any chance you have pics to share? Thanks!

I Installed The AMG E55/ Sport Body kit front and rear bumpers and side skirts
(From Mbenznl)

One can use a Sport rear bumper as it has the cut out on the inside of the bumper..then install the black plastic cover or as I did Install a Carbon Fiber rear valance. The plastic / CF cover WILL hide any flaws from the cut out..Looks Perfect!

There seems to be many terms for bumper types, sport, AMG, etc. Technically, I have the "Sport" package as this is what it was called in 2003. I have looked at my bumper many times and am not seeing the obvious cut-out line. Perhaps I do not have the correct "Sport" bumper or a different "Sport" bumper than what the trim kit is designed for. Maybe I do have the correct bumper, that's why I am trying to get pics of one of these MBenzNL black plastic cut-out/trim kits look like on a W211 but no one seems to have one.

Pictures of my bumper is below. Is this bumper designed for the MBenzNL supplied AMG exhaust kit and black plastic trim/cut-out kit.? Please note the current exhaust and bumper cut-outs are NOT OEM. The mufflers are Magnaflow and the cut-outs done with a dremel. I want a better setup such as the AMG and a more OEM cut-out.

Where did you find Magna-Flow mufflers to fit the car. I've got an 03' 500 sport and have been looking for an exhaust system. I would think the Magna-Flow is a good bit cheaper than one of the traditional Mercedes tuner kits.
