Go for the 07-08 style...The W221 style only makes it look like you wish you had a W221 but could not afford it...

And all along I thought I just happened to like these tail lights better than the 07-08 style!

Can you please help me understand why I have a sport grille on?

Perhaps subconsciously I really wish I had a CL or CLS but cannot afford one either?

This is all very troubling as this Forum is FULL of people that like to mod their vehicles.

Could this mean they all have deep-seated feelings of envy hidden in their Psyche?

That is how I look at it and that includes the grill as well...The grill uppgrade is a very "US" thing to do. Not at all popular over here. This dont have to mean that all you other guys have to think like that. I sell them my self in my store but I would never put that grill or taillights on my W211.

What's funny is I know Forum members in Europe and Asia that have changed to a sport grille as well.
They must all be Americans living abroad...

I think your a bit childish here..Just said my opinion. Dont have to be yours..Dont matter what you say this is what I think and will keep on thinking. I have sold this type of things in about 7 years and those figures says it all to me compared to sales on avangarde grills when in comes to "CL look" style grills. The most importent thing is that you are happy with your mods..Not what others think.

I must the car looks incredible. Can please let me know what parts did you replace. Looks like you change the grill to the new 07-09 grill and the bumper to 07-09?
I am thinking about doing the same transformation and would greatly appreciate if you let me know what you did to your car

OK, Here is my new toy, 2007 E350, 15,000 miles. Black Birdseye Maple, White Instrument Cluster, Sports Package, NAV.

All I have to do now is figgure out what everything does. This replaces an 95 E320 that I put 173,000 miles on. Suggestions on upgrades anyone?

Great car. You'll enjoy it a lot. I'm dreaming about buying an SL for my wife and then I can take over her E350. Well, I can dream. It looks exactly like that, at least from the pictures. Flint Grey, Black Leather, Sport Package, P2 and all options except wood wheel and panorama roof. Have fun. Enjoy the 190SL as well. Post some pics of the 2 together.
