Anyone installed aftermarket HID kit (Mtec or McCulloch) - Benzworld.org

Hi,

I don't have the Bi-Xenon option in my E350. I was wondering anyone install these HID kit (Mtec or McCulloch)? Any comments? Are they as good as factory Bi-Xeon? What is the color output? Mtec claimed that it will not show any error message on board.

I own a 2005 c230 SS. I installed a MTEC hid kit and I can truly say that this kit Rocks!! No error messages. Be sure you choose the right color temp. I purchased a kit with 6000k and it was too blue for me. I purchased 5000k from another dealer because MTEC only offere 4500k,6000k 0r 8000k. Go with MTEC, you wont be sorry.
