Thanks everyone for your help. Unfortunately, I have replaced our family SUV instead and didn't buy the E-class. I traded in 1999 4Runner with 06 Lexus LX470 last week. I looked at the ML but it's kind of small.
Maybe I'll get a W211 after the facelift. Thanks everyone again.

Ooooh, LX470, tell us about it. Compared to the ML or G. DOesn't the LX have a infra-red thing at night? Is it good? Something to be looking forward to in the S-Class?
The night vision is pretty cool. I heard cadillacs had them before. I wonder how theirs work.
Well, what can I say, its a toyota. Boring to drive compared to MBs. It's nothing like a W164 that I test drove on MB road rally events. Handling sucks with all Toyotas.
The thing I like is the height leveling suspension and Japanese reliability. MPG is not bad, not much worse than V6 4x4 4Runner although it's a V8. And I get a lot more room.
