RE: Getting a new W211, please help...

I don't think that is a bad price. My sticker for mine was approaching $59K (4-matic)..I was able to get him down to under $51K.

Don't forget there is $2000K back from MB on each car sold by the dealer...

RE: Just went to dealer today, please help

There is a friends and family discount of 12.25% off of list that anyone can have..... so, just say the competition offered you 12.25% off of list... they will match it.

You got a good deal. My sticker price 58885 is $15 away from 59K and I am only getting 53K plus license and registration would bring it to 57,990.

I should ask 2 more thousand to 51K, huh?

Thanks for your help.

My 58885's 12.25% would make it 51671.6...

I would definitely ask for this and would not settle for any price above this.

Thank you very much and hope you are enjoying your new E.

Great deal you got. So far, the lowest I've been quoted is 51,500 for sticker of 58,885. I've been too busy to get into a bargaining war with dealers. I can't wait to get a new W211 either.

thanks..

No, I haven't. I have been really busy. When I went last week, they didn't have the car with the options I wanted at the dealer yet and it was on its way from port. Maybe I'll go again this weekend.

The lowest I talked to so far is 58885 for 51500 and people are telling me that's pretty good deal already.

Hope you get a good deal and let me know and keep me posted. Good luck...

Sounds like a good deal to me, but if its not the car you want then what good is it. The dealer can "sit on a rock" sometimes because chances are someone else(w/o your negotiating skills) will purchase it for sticker or alot closer to it.
Keep in mind wagons/4-matics can usually fetch a larger discount in our area due to low demand.
Also as already stated in this post the discounts and incentives are changing constantly so who knows........
A couple of packages changed last week The only one I can remember right now is the appearance package,it was modified and price lowered.
