Secret Menu instrcutions?

hey guys,

I wanted to know if anyone knows the secret menu instructions for their E55. THere is a secret menu that allows you to see all the vital engine info directly through the climate control. Does anyone know it b/c i have searched upand down and i cannot find it. I found out about it from a 2000 E55 owner at the drag strip, he showed me it and it was really good. you could see all the vital engine info along with other stuff directly from your Climate control screen in ditigal format. any one know it?

Hi,

push the "REST" Button for 5sec and then you can scroll with the "AUTO" button through the diffent items and corresponding readings.

E.g. number 22: The real speed w/o offset, or 24 the batterie voltage
and kind of 40 other entries which I am too lazy to translate now ...

ya, could you provide the full list of numbers? i know they have things like coolant temps, oil temps, digital tach etc etc

hehe ya i keep trying to contact him but its not working, i know it exists though b/c a fellow 2000 e55er showed me at the track, its an awesome feature.

I would love to know if I could see the inake air temp (IAT) before going into the motor. I know even some of the Chevy trucks have it. Since mine is a 99 do you think I have that feature?
