I have an 03 E55 and this battery protection light keeps coming on!
It also depowers my 12v accessory plug!
I have recently changed the battery.
Anyone else seen this problem?

Hi, John.

You have two batteries and a W211, not a 210. Completely different in this regard.

Probably best to do a search in that forum (not just AMG, but the regular 211, same setup) and then post if you don't find a good answer.

That's 2 battery ...

1st ... Auxiliary Battery ... Small Unit In Engine ...
2nd ... Main Battery ... Big Unit In Trunk

pls ... When You Replace The Battery ...
Is Good To Replace The Battery Module As Well ...

What Is Colour Of The Warning Light
RED or WHITE ...??

RED ... Was The Small Battery in the Engine Compartment
WHITE ... Was The Main Battery In The Trunk Conpartment

Both Are Controlled By The Battery Module ...

most likely a failing alternator.
