Help, How do you change the light bulb behind the center instrument cluster on a 1999 E320 Wagon? All lights work except the environment control panel.. Windshield defrost, temperature, etc. I heard there are clip tools you have to buy?
there is a fine tutorial about using the metal insert from a filing cabinet folder. you basically round off the edges to a point with a gentle curve in it, and cut a notch into the thin flat side of it. You stick them in the slots until you hear a click, and pull out side by side until you can pull the unit out. Search for "factory head unit removal tools"
