any help would be appreciated i have a 98 w210 e55 and cant get the aux fans to work. the ac works fine after replacing evap temp sensor.
car runs fine but engine coolant temp gets up to the mid to high 90s celsius if left stood . mechanical cooling fan seems ok. if i use the test procedure[hold auto buttons 10 sec] the aux fans come on full speed.
are the aux fans supposed to work as soon as ac is switched on or only when engine coolant temp gets high?
i have had a look at the fan control module under the left headlamp there is 12v in but no power out to the fans, is there any way to test the module
