What would be the best way to clean rear window from sticky staff left after removing tint film?
I did not think it would be a bid deal when bought the car ...
Thank you

WD-40 is good for removing sticky residue from an adhesive material or road tar. I use it to remove almost every sticky stuff and it won't hurt your paint surface. I'm sure it will clean up the adhesive left by the tint but your interior will smell for a few day. Its cheap and everyone have a can in there garage.
Or you cna use a razor blade and scrape it off but you might remove the heating element for your rear defoster.

I always approach "sticky anything" with rubbing alcohol, first. Goo Gone, second. And, WD-40, last. Good luck.
Thank you very much
I appreciate your attention to my question, it is very tempting to ask a dozen questions more I am a new owner 2002 E320 and never had M-B before.
And it seems like I will put quite a few manhours into this car - I want it to look good, to run good and I want to feel good about it. Especially when I see disaproving faces of my neighbors and coworkers.
Well, I am happy to report that finally I got rid off that sticky stuff (almost)
I tried rubbing alcohol, WD40, GooGone and GooOff.
The winner was hands down GooOff, followed by Windex
