Any way to integrate Ipod, what about aftermarket audio, bluetooth phone integration?
Getting 2001 E55. It has a phone integration cradle. Does anybody knows about a bluetooth adapter for it? Also is ther any way to hook IPod up to it without using RF adapters - they suck. The one I'm looking at has a Premium BOSE 6 DISC system with navigation
Now a big question - if I would like to install aftermarket audio without trully butchering car - is it possable or all the systems are too tightly integrated?
I do not care if navigation no longer works
Speaking of navigation - any upgrades to the unit or ability to replace it with aftermarket built in
I took out the OEM radio and put a JVC NX5000 with Navi, Ipod, Bluetooth and best of all it reads DVD, MPEG, AVi, and WMA!! I hooked it up to the Bose speakers and factory AMPs and the sound quality is amazing!!

I completeley changes my Radio out for a Kenwood Navigation HDD. I got the 7" Monitor Kenwood DNX 7100 with my 80GB IPOD, and also Bluetooth Integration for my blackberry. I love it. It took me three Saturdays to install the complete mobile video/audio/navigation system. Also I installed a 10" Kenwood subwoofer to boost the Bass just a little bit.
