uhh im almost positive the all the w210 model E class AMG's and non AMG cars did not have self leveling suspension unless its diffrent over sea's but i doubt it. Get your self some H&R springs and blistien sport shocks (if you want) and you should be set. Ohh and you can also replace your spring pads with a lower rating but not much of a drop there good luck.

w210s did not have, conventional old school spring & shock combos on all the 210s.

Only W211 have automatic leveling in the rear.

Swaping out spring for W210 is so easy if you have the right tool. You need W210 MBZ spring compressor. YOu don't even need the spring compressor for the rear. for the rear you need to support the control arm with a jack and drop it than you can pull the spring out once it decompress. Very simply. don't bother using the spring compressor in the rear, it a pain in the butt

I think

the W210 station wagon does infact have self leveling suspension, not any other W210's

What suspension did the E55 come with stock? I just got under my car yesterday and noticed there's Bilsteins in there.

The W210 Wagon/Estate HAS Auto level in the rear...Even the AMG W210 E55 /E60 Estates have it

The rear on a W210 Estate is NOT any harder than a sedan to lower..
Just replace the springs..and adjust the height via the level sensor

I Did My W210 2000 Estate with H/R Sport springs over Eight years ago

Here are a couple of pics of it
