WOW! Ready to drop a 211 motor in your 210?

Saw this on e-bay. couldn't help but wonder how much is involved in swapping motors! The price is definately on time, especially with less than 1000 miles on it! Enjoy.... eBay Motors: Mercedes AMG 55 Kompressor Motor E55 CLS55 G55 S55 CL55 (item 220191387845 end time Jan-17-08 13:10:10 PST)

it would be cheaper to sell my 210 and buy a 211....Before I went through the engine swap, ecu swap, (maybe even tranny swap) your looking well north of 20K. I hink I would go the Kleeman route with my 210 before doing the 211 swap. But the thought is always nice!

I agree. The Kleeman route would be the easiest. But 14K is a great price for that engine no? I guess if you had a blown motor in your 210 E55 than this might be an idea to entertain? Has anyone ever done a sucessful 211 into a 210 transplant? Just curious.
