Heat Soak

i have this strange problem..when my car is cold i feel that it accelerate faster than when it reach the normal temp..i guess this is heat soak..what can i do to remedy this??? thanks and happy new year!!

Honestly, I don't have that problem. I think the dual air intake setup is pretty awesome.

This happens with most cars. No this is not really heat soak. As the intake temp rises the air that gets pulled in is not as dense anymore so it affects the strength of the combustion in your combustion chambers. Cooler denser air ='s more power ,hence your results when you start the cold engine.

You can alter some of the effects of the heat by using a thermo -tec heat blanket underneath your intake cover.
