I am due for a tune up in less than 1000 miles. I have read a few posts concerning spark plugs and need advice in choosing the right plugs. Are the denso's really worth the extra coin? at 12 bucks a pop I would hope so? And seeing as I need 16 of them,is it really beneficial? I gues what it comes down to is Bosch (platinum, plat2 plat4) vs. NGK vs. Denso. What does Benz reccomend? I guess a better question would be, What do you have in your E55 and why did you choose them? Thanks for any feedback. Regards, Brian

Reason: More concise
Wonder if Denso Iridiums are made in our heat range and reach ?
When I took my M# in for its 30,000 mile service, surprisingly, the dealer suggested them.
I cant tell much difference, but supposed to be awesome plugs.
I am running NGK BCP7ES. They are copper core and cooler than stock. They are supposed to fire better in rich mixtures (I am Kleemann supercharged). Being copper, they will also wear out sooner than plat plugs. 30k change interval.
Joe55's right OEM plugs are NKG and are the best... I replaced mine with OEM plugs. Those things are expensive enough in my opinion($7.49 a pop) and others are really not worth the extra penny. If you do research on here there are several ppl talking about their experience with all the other spark plugs. Hope that helps....
Let us know what you chose and what you think about them.
