Has anyone had their 2000-02 W210 E55 weighted at the racetrack or truck stop? My door label says 4600lbs. is this the real weight? Wow that is not a light car. I want real world numbers so anyone? Thanks

no, ours are roughly 3650-3700lbs. its much lighter than the newer 4100 lb W211s. the GWR is basically max weight period not the actual curb weight. Hope that helps.

curb weight (no people) from MBUSA

ratios based on 210 E55 349hp/211 E55 469hp /C43 302hp

98-99s weighed 3746 lbs 10.73 lb per hp
00-02s weighed 3768 lbs 10.79
03-06s weighed 4087 lbs 8.71 nice power to weight ratio

C43s on the other hand only weighed 3448 lbs but that works out to 11.4 lb per hp

you can get the E55s down to about 3600 flat with a few modifications and weight removal tricks. its easy to take out 100-150lbs anything more than that requires some sacrifices.
