Oil and Coolant Error on the same day!?

When it's not one thing, it's another. I just had my tires changed and the day after I get the "check oil level" error message and the day after that I get "check coolant level" error message. The IC shows that i still have 5200 miles left before service. I was wondering if this is something that happens often or am I screwed?

Did you check the oil level or coolant level and visually verify its not actually low?

Dont go by the service thing, all you have to do is look and tell when things are wrong, i do a fluid/ tire wear check every week.

You didnt give us any background on the car. Mileage, did you just buy it, did you have a Pre Purchase Inspection?

What do you mean are you screwed? Just check the oil and coolant, not a big deal.

Or take it to an idependant mechanic and have it checked out.

sorry for the lack of information. I bought the car in May and didn't do a pre-purchase inspection on it. Nothing's been wrong with it so far, except the tire but that was garbage in the highway. The car's a E430 Sport with 126,000 Miles. I have 5200 miles to go before doing the service level B. I guess i'll have to do it before that. By "screwed" I meant taking it to the stealership. I can do the oil check, but how do I check the coolant?
