Licence plate bulb question

What size are the bulbs for the licence plate lights? and how do I get in to change them? im looking to throw in some LED's in there and update the look a little.

It uses two festoon 39mm you can also use 37mm. You have to take the trunk lid cover off and then you can get to them. You will aslo need Load Resistors for each LED you add to your car to simulate the load of a standard filament bulb other wise your dash will tell you that one of your bulbs are out.
