You may want to try swapping with another owner with standard wood on the non-AMG board. There are always more people looking to add the dark stained AMG wood than vice-versa, it seems.
That would be cheaper than ordering new all the trim pieces, which are standard across the W210 range.
If you do end up switching, might want to look at the Designo wood color as well. It is very nice.

I think anything is possible with a special order but you probably have to pay through the nose if you are talking about a new car with a non-traditional option. I am not familiar with the terms you are using; by burlwood do you mean walnut, and by zebrano do you mean the blackish birdseye maple?
I just looked at a 2002 E55 with charcoal leather and the black wood. IMO, that thing was ugly, and I think the black wood would look much better with ash or stone (or whatever they called the light tan in the W210).

Im a pretty traditional guy, so Im not a huge fan of the designo stuff.
I have a e430 right now, so Maybe I can do a little switcharoo if I get an e55 before I sell my e.
Without the Designo option, you are going to have a tough time finidng a different color, I think. Every E55 I ever looked at had either the Desgino or the black.
I personally don't like the black wood in my car. I prefer the richer hues of the brown burlwood that is standard fare. The cabin is rather dark and stark for my tastes, and the lighter wood warms it up. I don't think the black wood looks bad though -- it is sportier. My favorite is actually the light colored wood they offer on the new SLs, but that is most certainly not an option.
