Today was awesome; the German cars ran down the Italian supercars. We had an SLR, CLS63 and my E55 Mercedes with some additional power from a Carrera GT, GT2, GT3RS, BMW M4, 850i moving through the pack of F430’s, 360’s and a 308 Ferrari, Murcielago, Gallardo, Diablo and Countach Lamborghini’s and a mix of others like a Ford GT, Viper, some Bentley Continental’s, etc. This was the South Florida Toys TV show kick off of a new Exotic Super Car Run today July 7th 2007 From Rick Case / Luxe Collection in Ft Lauderdale to the Ritz Carlton hotel in Naples FL.
I moved from the back of the pack making my why to the front traveling at speeds from 80 to 150 mph passing many Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s. I reached the SLR at the front and just then the rain crashed to the ground from the havens, and I backed my self to the middle to find my friend in his Porsche 993. My E55 surprised me being in the company it was in at how it can hold it’s own up along side these supercars. I never felt the others walking me and this was not a Sunday drive on the highway it was every man and women for them self’s, YES women and can they drive FAST!! I ran the CLS63 and felt my car very strong next to it he did pull on me, but it wasn’t as I thought the car would before this run. This was a great event, and I look forward to it next year a true fun run!
i've said it countless times before, don't underestimate our E55s at high speeds, they can keep up with cars that you wouldn't think they would be able too. I'm not suprised at all. Now imagine what it would have done with crank pulley & headers .
Well down here in Miami or South Florida people move here with money they made else where in the world. There were Doctors, Lawyers, businessmen and women, 3 high-end car dealers, 2 high-end auto performance shops and me a television producer. After you have three homes in the world the next thing is the toys. The fastest speed that day was 186 mph Lambo.

We were lucky on the way over that there were no police to stop us, but on the way back the next day they were waiting! Tickets were given to many people the highest ticket mph was 160 glad it wasn't me.
