MAS Removal and Cleaning
Happy easter!
Can anyone steer me to the how to on removing the MAS on a 02 E55?
I want to spray clean it and don't want to break it.

I've explained it in alot of my old posts. CRC MAS cleaner or 91% isopropyl alcohol are both great ways (I use both, first CRC then 91% Iso in order to insure there is no residue left).

fallbang, from what i recall it's pretty straightforward. remove the engine covers, and then once you find the MAF, disconnect the plug on the side, and then pull it out after removing the metal clamp. i wont have to mess with the 2 security torx bolts b/c i'm getting a whole new assembly.
i'm putting mine in tomorrow, i'll let you know how it goes.
