Finally got around to doing the intake design. It took a while today being the prototype obviously and I had to pretty much make it by from hand by scratch but overall its looking pretty good. Its a black powdercoated 3.5" aluminum pipe w/ heatshielded air filter and some black 4-ply turbo silicone hoses (not the cheapy ebay ones). It should be a really nice looking kit. I have not had a chance to get pics yet but once its full installed I will take pics. Can't wait to install the bad boy and open her up a bit
This picture prove that early development work is well under way on the 'OmeyhomeyE55 Secret Prototype Design Project' , with plans to sell as many as 2000 intake, pulley & headers a year to rival the likes of the Ferrari 360 Modena, Lamborghini Gallardo and all-new Audi R8. Although Omeyhomey engineers are remaining tight-lipped about the project, we have learnt that feasibility studies are currently being carried out on the car at one of Mercedes’ secret test-centres in Arizona.

Now thats funny Joe, and the prototype is way cool. When can I get one Omey?
These are some preliminary shots of what i'm working on. Remember this is just a rough prototype of what it will probably be but it gives you an idea of what Im thinking about. Anyways back to work

So is this filter large enough for HP gains what size is it? Small filters don’t help in power. I like the design. Are you making a cold air hose from under bumper behind the lower grill and a way to keep water out on rain days? Nice work, keep it up!
