AUX input in Glove Box Hi again,
I finially found the 3.5mm "AUX" input female connector in the left rear wall of my glove box.
Going in through the SVC button, then Systems Settings, then AUX gets you to the controller. I'm in IPOD Shuffle City!! Works Excellent!
Question: Is there an easy way to shortcut the original path to AUX to the blank buttom next to AM/FM on the head unit?
Thanks,
FBS

Hi
Can you elaborate on this ? I have a 2000 E55 and would also like to have an AUX input. I have the command system, does this cater for AUX input?
Thanks in advance.

Dave if you are looking for the AUX input it's in the left side (inside) glove box, you will need to have male + male connector that plugs in the aux and into your err I-pod.

No need to take off anything, just open your gb and it's on the left side - you do have Navi right?

if you check in the glove box , there should be a female input socket for a standard headphone connector, like for a MP3 player. It's flush with the side surface. There should also be a selector for AUX on your command system. This is on a standard 2000 facelift E55 with command system.
I had to press the SYS button to access this option. Interestingly, the AUX setting has its own set of Tone controls. Nice...!
:-)
Now all i need to know is where the Phone Sim card goes and ill be "complete"
Any ideas???
