Brake disk question

So, my car is approaching 33K. I am thinking it is almost Brake disk/shoes replacement time. So I've been looking around, $240.00 per disk is the cheapest I've found. Does anyone know any place that might save a guy a buck on some disks? Did any of you guys just use the same disk with new pads...or did you replace them? I know they can't be resurfaced...

When you get your rotors turned they will tell you if they can be turned or not.
The safest answer for MB service reps and many others is to support the premise of do not turn rotors... but a MB rotor can in many cases be turned down a bit without hurting anything.

Thanks a million for that write-up! I was under the impression that AMG rotors were to thin to be turned due to weight. Mine have a slight lip...not to bad at all for 33k. I'll pull one off have it measured to see if they can be turned....which btw would be great and save me a bunch of money. So any recomendations on some pads? Looking for something with less brake dust than stock.

The pads I'm currently using Mintex I ordered it through Bekkers Imports, it has minimal brake dust like axxis and porterfield.
