It looks pretty complicated under the seat. Are they easy to pull off?
I have an engineering background, so I can follow directions. However, I also have really bad car luck, so I am a bit apprehensive about pulling stuff apart.
I dont suppose they make a "Chilton" guide for our cars? I tried to buy a CD repair manual off of Ebay, but they discontinued the auction
First you need to minimize your seat (make your seat as small as possible), unscrew the rear bolts now put the seat in back position and unscrew front bolts.
The pic above shows part of the plugs that you need to disconnect.
Start disconnecting the wire plugs first just pulling them out by hand power.
The vacuum line need to be pried out with screwdriver and pull it out one act (be careful not to bending the hooks to much).
This is a big plug, but it is easy to disconnect. Simple use your thumb and press the same way the red arrow points (away from the door if the car has a left hand steering wheel.)
I hope this will help anyone to remove seat from there W210.

Just to update this thread in case anyone is searching for the same answer...
The fix for this is easy. There are two screws located at the bottom back of the seatback. If you move the seat all the way forward and tilted up, you will see them. Unscrew these and the back of the seat slides right off. You will have access to not only the airhoses for the side bolsters, but also to the seat fans, light, and other items.
Took me 5 minutes to fix my "leak" once I figured out where to look. The hose had slid off, and I just slide it back on. Might take it off and caulk it if it slides off again, but it didnt appear prone to doing so.
Hope this helps someone. I didn't have to remove my seat after all, but if anyone is searching for "seat removal" the guide above by jimmysnow is brilliant.
