Saturday I went to hang with the Porsche guys from RinnList for lunch. We met in Fort Lauderdale and drove out the Billie Swamp Safari (http://www.seminoletribe.com/safari/) The drive over was fun but SLOW!!!! But, later after food it was all out fun on I-75 I made some 993 owners think twice about the MB E55 N/A with some high-speed runs. All in all it was a great afternoon with some new and old friends. look forward to next time. The white 993 is a good friend of mine Kris P.

Hey AJ, how ya doing? The hottie was one of the guys wife and yes I ran two 993’s 1995 and a 1996 (My buddies white one in photo) beat them both. You know these guys thought my 4 door was slow at first sitting in the parking lot and later in the day they didn’t believe the power it has. My friend Kris said wow that thing can move (I came up to him at 80 went down in the gears pulled away up until he lifted at 130mph) He then came back started first I pulled up to him then we were even from there, but I didn’t go down a gear. The other guy had the 1995 993 I pulled strong on him. I wanted to play with a 1985 turbo with a ’87 3.3 motor, but he took off before us and was gone by the time we got to the highway. I will be more serous when we go out again in a few weeks. The 1996 993 has like 340HP no turbo but his car is 1000 lbs liter then mine so closer. He pulls good 1, 2 & 3 but the MB Hammer stays right there and then pulls away if we start at the same time. It’s the 400 MB TQ that keeps up with the lighter car.
I read our cars can pass and walk from the dodge charger Hemi. One came up on me a few months back but we got in traffic and the playing was over. Need Omey’s headers!
Yup, it seems our cars are deceptively quick at high speeds b/c the combo of 400 tq @ heavy mass actually acts as a sledge hammer pushing through the air at high speeds.
Don't worry Pulley is furiously being finished and headers hopefully should be out by summer at the latest. Thanks again for being patient guys but I promise it will be worth the wait
