Does this reset of the ECU work on older E55 AMG (the pre-facelifted W210)?

Cheers,
Adam

i have a question does this "notice" happen as soon as u reset the ecu or does it take a few runs for the ecu to relearn that you are driving it a bit diffrent?

IMO it's not going to be a noticeable difference or nothing at all.

Well, from my perspective it created a noticeable change.
As a background, the original owner (previous) was a 78 y.o. lady therefore the way she drove the car was not aggressive at all.
After ECU reset, I get instant response whenever I step on it - unlike before,
there seems to be somekind of hesitation.
(sorry, no concrete data to show you)

BTW, mine is a 2001 E55

thanks.

i am going to try reset mine this weekend and I wil let you know. I usually utilize the shifter to get better response time from the gas pedal. works great when you are blowing by the beemers...
