Best Bulbs For High Beams

Looking for the best bulbs for the high beams. I do a fair amount of late night highway driving (kind of fast too, hard not to in an AMG ) and want to upgrade the high beams. Any recommendations, like to find something close to the xenons and with good power, PIAA, HELLA? any input would help, hate to hit a deer at 150km , might chip the paint!

Anybody tried those Sylvannia Bulbs? I think you can get them at Canadian Tire. Want to upgrade my parking light/high beam too. They look so yellow beside the low beam xenons.

I was going to update my high beams, but found I never use them due to replacing my fog lights with matching headlight color 4300K with HID. They are bright and you see everything from low to high. I live in Miami, FL where there is a lot of street lights, but in my hood and some parts around town it's dark, and I still don't need them. Try this first you may be happy. Ebay sells lots of HID H3 kits but look for Garman ballist. I found factory HID that someone took off a C class I just had to buy new bulbs. I may change my highbeams to SilverStar H7 to comeplete the matching light look. (Highbeam flashing)

The fog light upgrade my still come, but I still would like a different bulb for the high beams. Some of the secondary highways have many critters crossing them, so good high beams are a must. The spectrum change between the xenons and high beams causes me too much eye strain after awhile, especially with a fair amount of oncoming traffic. I heard the Sylvannias burn out quick, plus i hate Crappy tire. Anyone try PIAA Xtreme White?

I tried both the PIAA White and Sylvannia H7 55W before on my old A4. The PIAA bulbs didn't last too long and I switched to the Sylvannia. I think the PIAA was $120 per pair when I bought them four years ago versus the Sylvannia which is about $28 each. The light output is very similar. But I used the bulbs on the frosted headlights versus the newer projector style light.

I used both light bulbs and my PIAA in my MB burned out in 1 year, the replacement SilverStars lasted 2 years plus. When I sold my car a few months ago they were still working. Great light output better or whiter/blue than the PIAA I think. I love PIAA have them on all my motorcycles.
