Hi all I recently purchase this with 60k miles on it. The color is dark turquoise #257. I have been looking around for a lot of W210 E55 in the US and Canada before I purchase this and I hardly find this color.....does anyone has this color on theirs?
I have never seen that color before...wow. Very interesting as I've always leaned towards blue cars.
I am not sure how it worked, but there must have been a way to special order colors other than the usual silver/black. I have a 2002 E-class line brochure, and it lists all colors as available, but this couldn't have been right. I've seen a few white W210 E55s, along with desert silver, dark red/burgundy, a couple grey cars (mine included), and I want to say I have seen a red one in a photo.
yeah I donno how it works too but I really have never seen it in this color before....I google it and come across about 3 other mercedes in this color but thats about it...at first I thought this car was repainted before I buy it but then i check all the codes and stuff and color 257 seems to be the matching color...I went to buy touch up stick from the dealer and the guy was like this is a rare color then he got to order the stick from germany.....anwyays the car is great I had it for 2 months now...I will keep update my pics....lol
Actually there was a desert silver W210 E55 at the showroom I got mine from....it was a 2002 one so is a little more pricey....so I got this one.....I wonder why the same place has 2 of the rare color E55 lol....but anyways is a great car!

Nice car. Am I correct - you have mismatched door pillars on drivers side.
oh yeah the driver door one is all faded you can still see very light dots when you look close up....I went to the dealer and is like a 200 dollar part so I was like forget it.....is there anywhere to get it cheaper? I see some other ppl try to make all the other ones like that but on the passanger side now is perfect so I dont want to do that.....I just hope to get a new one =)

I too wonder how the color thing works. I have never see a Desert silver E55, but it is an available color.
