Yes. what they do is they take the stock pulley. the take off the outter rim and then slap on their custom peice on the outside but still use the center of the stock steel pulley (which honestly is horribly made and looks flat out terrible. They are charging $2k for a hacked up stock pulley which is heavy and poorly machined. If you saw a stock pulley up close in person you'd wonder how MB every put it on in the first place.

These are pullies from W211 E55. The Factory MB pulley is on top left and the bigger ASP crank pulley is the top right. the smaller ones are the water pump pulleis under each other.

Omey,

Definately put me down for a 55 pulley. I can barely wait!! Also, will you be doing headers for the 55 engine. I want them for my 05 C55. Let me know.

Regards,
Marc

yes I am doing 55 headers. I also am going C55 pulley as well. Most of the pulleys should be on the market soon but M104 is lagging behind b/c its a bit of a complex pulley to do. thx

Cant wait to see those headers, the ones on are cars are sick (not in a good way, function like junk, just look at them AARRGG). I think Omey's right the hp numbers are way to low for this engine. I'm interested to see the results of the new pulley and when they come the headers. The air box on these cars are an interesting contraption too. But what Renntech and Kleeman charge for some of these parts is insulting. If i wanted to spend that much extra money i would have bought an w211. I dont mind spending some money, but come on, better spend that money on a newer car (which AMG is always improving, in theory). My venting, Omey kick their asses!

UPDATE:

Hey guys,

I have slightly modified the design. I should be able to remove another 5-10% of the entire weight of the pulley thereby increasing the gains. This will really help the pulley spin up REAL quick and should pick up about 1 more HP than the initial design. This will set the pulley back about 2-3 weeks but I think its well worth it. I am hoping for production to start by the end of this month at the latest and hopefully pulleys to hit the market by spring break / end of march at the latest. I am trying my best to get this pulley to the market ASAP but I wanted to be sure that the pulley is a 100% bulletproof & perfected design b/c I will incorporate alot of the design features in all the different pulley models I will make. In addition, I will be coming out with a "Stealth" AMS Pulley which will be black annodized and virtually impossible to detect (even by dealership mechanics) the pulleys are identical to their stock counterparts in their shape so once hard annodized black they will be almost impossible to differentiate (which will make alot of you warranty guys very happy.) Im trying my best to hurry this up guys, but its not easy to bring this amazing of a pulley to the market so quickly but I really am trying my best. E55 headers realistically won't be ready till end of summer but who knows it could speed up. Your patience is much appreciated during this crucial period of R&D, Anyways thx again guys.

The One, The Only

If I keep my 55 then I would love to get headers. Are they going to be shorty's or long tube?
