Whats that little button under the accelerator do?

Hey guys, newb here got a 02 E55 blk/blk. Thanks to you mods have started

Blue Citylights
Clear Front Sidemarker with bluish lights
x pipe mod

Thanks to omey for all his research

On to my original question, do you guys know what that round button under your accelerator pedal does???

I stepped on it while car was not running and it seems to be like a switch, however, I don't know what kind of switch Could it be a hidden boost switch???

Thanks

Silent Alarm. You probably sent the cops to the previous owner's house.

I believe it produces a WOT (wide open throttle).

its the "kickdown" button, it makes the tranny kick down into the lowest possible gear for maximum acceleration, you can get the same effect with pushing it 90% of hte way. The best way to dyno is to push smoothly & progressively all the way and then once you hit 4000rpm you can pusht he button for max power . hope that helps
