Today i have remove my cats for E430 w210 to an 2.5 inch pipe and already delete the resonator and custom made muffer so today i feel lost lot thoq since i remove the cat i read the post that the X pipe help so what should i do next to optimize the power my another choice on monday is to replace back the origin muffer what should be the next mod thank!!!!
What brand packing did you use? FYI stock muffler packing is NOT fiberglass, fiberglass wears down way too quick. Magnaflow uses a dual layer system, mesh steel and then acoustical absorbing material over that to prevent it from burning away. Many other high end mufflers use a similar system. Fiberglass mufflers are basically the cheapo $50 mufflers you see on ebay, those are all fiberglass packed (as well as glass-packs, hence the name and crappy sound).

Yep the sound came out in high frequecy not the v8 should but the main thing is that "where is the power went to?" Is the "X PIPE" help in these case Tlhank
