key fob battery replacement?

both my key fob batteries are running low... i'll hit the button, and nothing. even my distance is getting shorter, like i need to be right next to the car to unlock..

i used the actual key part once to get in and the alarm went off... how do i by-pass this?

more importantly, how do i change the battery in the fob?
any help is appreciated! did a search too...nothing...
Aj

You can look in your car manual, it tells you how to change the battery.

If my memory serves me correctly, after removing the metal key from the FOB, you can use it to release the button inside the channel, then you can pull out the top FOB with the PCB w/ battery attached.

It looks sweet -- mine looks like the plain MB key (I can't tell my key from my wifes C320 other than the different color release buttons -- one red, other grey).

If I may ask, is it just a logo application like a sticker, or is it the whole key?
I'd love to get one.

Either one or two will do, but I could go more if there is a minimum. I'll just start sticking them everywhere.
Thanks for the help.
