yes but alot of that is wrong. RPMs are not accurate and neither is the regrigerant BAR, its not in BAR its 1.___ in bar meaning the numbers correspond after the decimal point. thats why it says 09 instead of just 9. it mean 1.09 or its roughly covnerts like that. the Eclassbenz website does the actual conversion for you when you do their diagnostic tool.
Wow, this is a really good thread...thanks for all the hard work guys! My AC is not blowing super cold either so I will run a diagnostic on mine and post my values when I get a chance. Separate question - I have an ODBII scanner I bought a few months ago for my '97 Z71. Can I plug this into the Benz and, if so, where is the connector on this car?
open the hood while the car is on with the AC... do you hear hissing sound from the passenger side firewall compartment in the engine bay (by the dual valve), if you do that means you are low on freon.

I use Datamaster to scan/log my 1991 GMC Syclone and it diplays everything you want to know, in realtime (knock, timing, injector duty cycle, IAT, MAP, O2, temps, etc.). Is there a scan tool available for our cars that will run on a laptop? Using the built-in climate control display is nice, but I want to be able to see various parameters while driving or racing at the track.

hehe naw, at the end of the day its all about learning more about our cars so if i can provide good info for the community then thats all that matters. But alot of those things are not accurate stated like the RPMS and etc b/c the RPMS start at 40 (ya very weird) I do not know how they are measuring engine rpm but its really weird. also a few other things are not accurate about that list stated. so i was correcting those as well.

well you can see the parameters at the track but just those listed. remember... this is a E55 not a gmc syclone so u cannot really do the same things to both. (not to knock syclones, a button of mine had a highly modified GMC typhoon and those are the best 60ft cars ever made lol . they were a rocket ships, but their build quality wasn't very good.
Sy/Ty trucks are ODBI vehicles. I'm certain we can do a whole lot more datalogging/tuning with a 2002 ODBII platform car that with a 1991 ODBI truck I think I found a product that will work:
They are rockets from 0-60, but they don't have much on the top end. They sqeak and rattle like any other American car...no surprise there. My 12.7 was with a badly slipping torque converter that I need to replace. Should be low 12's or high 11's with my build (600HP), but the power's not getting to the ground. Here's me running against a 12.5 sec C5 with a 407 stroker:
My buddy has a 1000HP Typhoon that runs 10's and he drives it on the street. I want my E55 to run low 12's or high 11's at some point. Need to get a scan tool so I can see what's going on under the hood. I saw your comment about the coolant temps - that's too hot. I'm having PTE (from MBWorld) modify a t-stat for me to open at 170F. I'll let you guys know how that goes.
I don't like the look of the W211...it's ugly to me; particularly, the rear half and the plastic interior. I'll put the Kleemann setup on my '02 and have the best looking E55 and supercar performance in one package If I wanted to just drag race, I would have gotten the Supra TT or Z06.
