naw i found them on another benzworld thread believe it or not. Took me a long time of searching through google to find it though. i wonder what the last two are. I will do a full diagnosis of my ECU soon and figure out what numbers my car has I have a feeling a few of mine may be low so i will double check.

Let's all compare to see what readings we're getting.

Hey guys, I just realized that the reason my AC may not be working very efficiently is that if the refrigerant pressure sensor goes bad the clutches will not engauge the system as a self precaution measure for the compressor unit (so the compressor does't fry itself). so i may have to check that sensor

I also came up with 4 trouble codes:
EB1232 - Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Malfunction
EB1234 - Sun Sensor Malfunction
EB1235 - Emissions Sensor Malfunction
EB1422 - ???

the sun sensor malfunction may explain why i have daytime running lights when im not supposed to lol. dunno i'll have to see

gonna try and add more 134a soon

Here is the list I have - still in German but if you guys drive a Mercedes you should be able to handle it:

01 - Temperaturfühler Innenluft mit Belüftungsgebläse
02 - Temperaturfühler Außenluft
03 - Temperaturfühler Wärmetauscher
05 - Temperaturfühler Verdampfer
06 - Temperaturfühler Kühlmittel
07 - Kältemitteldruck in bar, z.B. '06°4' = 6,4bar
08 - Temperaturfühler Kältemittel, z.B. '23°9' = 23,9°C
09 - Genaue Geschwindigkeit ohne Tachoabweichung
10 - Gebläsesteuerspannung von '08°0' bis '60°0' = 0,8V bis 6,0V
11 = Emission-Sensor (B31) z.B. 3.1 = 31.v
12 = Sonnestandssensor 4.2 = 4.2v
20 = Zusatzkühlventilatorsteuerung 6.1 = 6.1A (max 10A)
21 = Motordrehzahl 1/min*1000
22 = Fzg-Geschwindigkeit km/h ohne Tachoabweichung
23 = Stromkreis 58d z.B. 99 = 99% von Batteriespannung,
24 = BATTERIE-SPANNUNG z.B. 12.5 = 12.5v
40 = Steuermodul-Version Software-Version
41 = Steuermodul-Version Menü-Hardware-Version
42 = Steuermodul VarantenCode 1. Zahl
43 = Steuermodul VarantenCode 2. Zahl
52 - Temperatur-Sollwert
54 - Kältemittelverdichter NOT-AUS
60 - Dach: OPE=offen, CL0 = geschlossen ( Nur bei Cabrio R 129 !!! )

hey boys n girls,

FYI guys.... the #7 value is not in BAR, its 1.__ so if you have 09 that mean 1.09 BAR, if you have 17 that means you have 1.17 bar. Using the EclassBenz.com diagnostic tool i found out that 1.17 is still too low. use the dianostic too. its awesome.

USE THIS TOOL !!!!!

http://www.eclassbenz.com/acdiag

all you do is type in your values and it tells you EVERTHING.. amazing

Wow guys,

I just used the AC diagnostic tool and look at the print out it gave me...

"# Your climate control data has been received.
# Your refrigerant pressure is reading a bit low (1.1721087376583 bar). This probably means that you're low on refrigerant. Your should get a recharge. Since your EC light is not permanently lit, it means the pressure hasn't yet dropped far enough to force the A/C compressor to shut off. Note that Mercedes air conditioning systems use variable pressure to provide the appropriate level of cooling as needed. This is helpful for fuel economy. But it makes it impossible to know for certain how much refrigerant is in the system based on pressure alone.
# Your refrigerant temperature sensor indicates 121 degrees, which is warmer than the outside air. This is good. When the refrigerant is warmer than the outside air, it can transfer heat out of the car. This means that your A/C is working -- but just barely. This is a sign of low refrigerant rather than something more serious like total compressor failure (although your compressor may be leaking!).
# Often you can tell you're low on refrigerant by a hissing noise coming out of the center vents. The hissing is the sound of the refrigerant rapidly expanding to fill the evaporator. This only makes noise when you're low on refrigerant. Do you hear this hissing noise?
# Code B1232 Explanation: This sensor measures the pressure of the refrigerant in the A/C system. It appears to be malfunctioning. If this sensor is defective, you may be able to turn your A/C back on by overriding it.
# Code B1234 Explanation: This sensor detects strong sunlight and increases the fan speed slightly to compensate for solar gain. The sensor is located in the middle of the dash near the windshield. This sensor is not critical. Its failure would not interfere with normal A/C function.
# Code B1235 Explanation: This sensor is intended specifically for anyone living near LA. It detects smog in the air and automatically switches to recirculation mode and switches on the activated charcoal cabin filter until the pollution levels drop. This sensor is not critical. Its failure does not interfere with normal A/C function, unless you happen to drive your car inside a smokestack."

wow .... get those values and test them out !
